My great grandma, Lou(ise) with my great uncle, Ralph, and my grandma, Margaret a.k.a. Googles. My great uncle and his collection of photos he either took or had from throughout his life, world war II and such were the subject of my 2017 photo book, Memories My Great Uncle Left Behind. It remains one of my proudest accomplishments in my career. Just the details in restoring his photos from the war was a pleasure. He was so proud to have served our country. Everything within him went in to that service. I look at this pic and knowing what I know now and knowing all that he and my grandmother taught me about life, I am filled with gratitude.
