Liquid Gold

Liquid gold fabric is a type of fabric that has a metallic, shimmering finish, giving it a liquid-like appearance. It is often made from synthetic materials such as polyester or nylon and is treated with a specialized coating or dye to achieve its signature gold color and iridescent sheen.

The fabric has a smooth, lustrous surface that catches the light and appears to shift and move as it is viewed from different angles, much like liquid gold. It is often used in formalwear, evening gowns, and other high-end fashion applications where a touch of luxury and glamour is desired.

Some common characteristics of liquid gold fabric include:

- Metallic sheen

- Iridescent color

- Smooth, lustrous surface

- Synthetic materials (such as polyester or nylon)

- Specialized coating or dye treatment

- Formal, luxurious appearance

Overall, liquid gold fabric is a striking and eye-catching material that adds a touch of glamour and sophistication to any garment or textile.

Lyquid Man - Photography by Cassone

My latest series of photos are called "Lyquid Man" - here are a variety of treatments I did while editing in Photoshop to the same photo. The subject is actually a mannequin that hangs from the ceiling at a club here in South Florida called The Stable. I was at "The Lady Fancy Show" working on my February feature (I KNOW, I KNOW - it's coming! LOL) and it was actually my first shot right before the show started. You never know where you will find some inspiration. I hope you enjoy viewing as much as I did working on these.
Check out the video slideshow here:

Thank you!
