Your Spirit - a poem by Antonio Cassone
With a great knowledge of
Our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ, your spirit
moves me in many ways.
And with the display on that
belief, which is yours.
It’s like an orchestral
symphony as, with mine, it plays.
Sweet communion, we’ve come
to know
All about the Word and
praise.
With your involvement in the
community you show
How a soul can uplift and
raise.
However, spirit is far more
than going to church.
It is a lifestyle, having
been on myself a mission,
I see you had yourself set
out on a search.
Jesus is The Way, more than
a mere intuition.
Jump for joy,
As the chorus rocks.
Write for the Lord,
For it doesn’t pretend or
shock.
It is the reality
That you and I have yet
another thing in common,
A deep, profound
spirituality
That is straight from the
heart and stirs the soul.
